West Vancouver and Lions Bay

West Vancouver is a collection of distinct neighbourhoods that form an oceanfront community extending along Burrard Inlet from Howe Sound to the Capilano River. West Vancouver is known for its shoreline beaches and marinas, hiking trails, cycling and ski areas, protected old-growth forests and a number of rivers. The unique and spectacular combination of ocean, mountains, and temperate climate have also inspired a vibrant arts and culture scene.

Lions Bay is small picturesque seaside Village nestled in Howe Sound.

West Vancouver and Lions Bay are located on the traditional and unceded territories of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.

In 2019, the West Vancouver Foundation will be awarding forty Neighbour Grants in celebration of our fortieth birthday. You are eligible to apply for a Neighbour Grant if you live in West Vancouver or Lions Bay.
